BEHIND THE LENS:
When I was about 10 years old I started using my Dad's Kodak Retina Reflex and became passionate about photography. I read a couple of books on photography and with my Mom's help I started my own dark room inside an unused bathroom in my house. Then I grew up, got my MD and PhD and truly enjoyed the next 25 years diagnosing diseases and doing medical research by photographing invisible gamma rays with special medical cameras, combining both science and art in the process. Whether visible or invisible to the naked eye, light makes photographs. Today I'm back to my passion... photography. I hope you like and enjoy my work.
Some quotes I like:

-I did not come to this world to be average
-You can't be trapped by other people, you can only be trapped by your own fear
-Fear is a thought and thoughts can easily be changed
-Either I will find a way or will create a way; but I will not create an excuse
-Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows
-I keep working even when no one is looking
-It might take a year, it might take a day, but what's meant to be will find a way
-Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there
-When I hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?
-When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be
